2026 CIO Leadership Retreat

May 18 – 22, 2026
Tetherow Resort, Bend, Oregon

NWACC’s CIO Leadership Retreat is intentionally designed around the voices, experiences, and realities of today’s CIOs. Based on your survey input, this retreat will focus on leadership, identity, resilience, and the human side of the role, while creating space for honest reflection, meaningful connection, and renewed energy. As the CIO role continues to expand and become more complex and difficult to navigate, this is an opportunity to step away and think more clearly about the role you are being asked to play. Participants will connect with their NWACC peers who understand the pressure and expectations of the job and will leave with greater clarity about their leadership approach, stronger peer relationships, and a renewed sense of direction as they navigate their CIO journey.

Agenda and Resources

The retreat will begin with an opening reception and dinner on May 18 and will adjourn with dinner on May 21. In Februrary, the draft agenda and planning materials will available in the 2026 Retreat folder in the shared Council drive (login required).
