The Spring 2026 Advancing Women in IT regional workshop will be hosted by University of Washington in Seattle on April 17, 2006.
While this event will highlight the importance of advancing women in technology and leadership, it is open to everyone in our NWACC community who is passionate about professional development, building inclusive workplaces, and fostering a stronger tech and leadership community in Western Oregon and Washington*. Join us for a day of learning, networking, and career growth with professionals from across the region!
Agenda
This year’s theme is Belonging in Tech: Creating Spaces Where Women Thrive.
Check-in, along with light breakfast and networking, opens at 8:30 am, and sessions get under way at 9:30. The workshop wraps up at 3:45 pm, followed by informal networking opportunities. The full agenda is available in Google Docs
Registration
Registration is now open for Western Oregon and Washington* schools. Please register no later than March 23rd.
If space is available, registration will open for all NWACC schools starting on March 25th.
Food Service
Light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided. Please note dietary restrictions or preferences on the registration form.
Location and Parking

Paid parking is available on the surrounding streets, and in the adjacent Tower Garage complex (Lots W45 & W46). Tower Garage parking is “pay-per-use” via pay station on floors 1 and 3, or by paying with your cell phone and using the QR code shown on one of the many parking signs posted throughout the garages.
Travel and Hotel
Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements, and travel costs will not be covered by NWACC.
For those who need to spend the night in Seattle, two nearby hotels offer UW discounted rates:
- The Graduate by Hilton, across the street from UW Tower. Use this custom link to make reservations.
