Bridget Barnes, MBA, MSEM, is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. Bridget has worked in OHSU’s Information Technology Group since 1999 and has had a key role in implementing and managing their business, student, research, and clinical information systems during that time. Bridget’s team of technical professionals is responsible for supporting all missions of OHSU (academic, clinical, research and outreach functions), as well as the multiple business entities that support OHSU. She has published and presented to professional organizations on application implementation and selection strategies.
Bridget has served on national and regional information system Boards including the Oracle Higher Education User Group (HEUG), the NorthWest Oracle User Group (NWOUG), the NorthWest Academic Computing Consortium (NWACC), Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), the Oregon Health Network and Oregon’s Health Information Technology Oversight Committee.
