Abhijit Pandit is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of Oregon, where he is responsible for the IT strategy and services in support of the university’s teaching, research, and service mission. Abhijit also oversees the university’s central IT department, which provides a broad range of technology services to UO students, faculty, and staff. His leadership experience spans Higher Education, Academic Medical Centers, Research, Healthcare, Non-Profit Public Corporations as well as corporate entities like Nike, Dr. Pepper Seven Up, Kellogg’s Keebler, and Cadbury Schweppes. Abhijit Pandit is also a member of the faculty at OHSU, having previously taught at the University of Oregon, Oregon Institute of Technology, and the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he serves on the board of Link Oregon.
Abhijit holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA from the University of Washington.
