Kevin Berg is the Chief Information Officer at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Kevin got his start at PLU in the Registrar’s Office in 2005 helping to clear a backlog of transfer evaluations. Various jobs in the Registrar’s Office led to an opportunity to serve as Registrar, which he did from 2013 to 2019. Beginning in 2019, Kevin finally left his registrar colleagues and became PLU’s Director of Institutional Research, a role which allowed him to help expand PLU’s capabilities with data analysis and reporting. In the summer of 2023, Kevin moved to Information & Technology Services to serve as PLU’s CIO.
Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington State University and an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University.
