2021 Cybersecurity Workshop

A collaborative workshop on cybersecurity techniques and strategies for NWACC members.

Two seats at the workshop are reserved for each NWACC member institution until September 15. On September 16, available spots will be allocated to participants on the waiting list.

The workshop will begin at 8:00am on October 12 and adjourn at 12:00pm on October 14. The agenda is posted here. Masks/face coverings will be required in the meeting room and other common areas, except when you are actively eating or drinking. Please allow for additional space between yourself and your fellow attendees.

Hotel room and tax will be paid directly by NWACC for up to three nights (arriving on October 11 and departing on October 14). If you request hotel accommodations at registration, your reservation will be made for you and you will receive a confirmation number via email.

If you have questions about your reservation or need to make a change, contact Molly. Attendees will need to present a credit card at check-in to cover incidental costs.

The program will be held on the C Level of the hotel. Meeting sessions will be held in the Park Ballroom and food service will be provided in the foyer on the C Level.

Travel, Transportation, and Parking

Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. NWACC will reimburse travel expenses for all attendees. Reimbursement requests must be submitted within 21 days of the event and require itemized receipts.

The MAX light rail provides service from the airport and the Amtrak Station to the hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket kiosk at each MAX stop (NWACC will reimburse you for the expense). The Red Line (direct from the airport) stops 4 blocks from the hotel.

Hotel parking for overnight guests is valet-only and will be billed directly to NWACC. Participants driving in each day should park at the Smart Park garage at SW 3rd and SW Alder St.

Food Service

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as well as a reception on October 12. Dietary restrictions may be noted on the registration form.
