2018 Council Meeting

December 5-7, 2018
Courtyard Portland City Center

Overview

The annual Council Meeting brings together NWACC member representatives for formal and informal conversations related to current challenges, opportunities, and innovations in information technology administration in higher education.

The keynote address at the 2018 Council Meeting will be delivered by Lev Gonick, Chief Information Officer, Arizona State University, who will speak to the changing landscape of higher education from the perspective of a leader in the transformation of our field. The program will also feature a session dedicated to everything a CIO needs to know about cybersecurity (or at least the five things your CISO needs you to know), the return of the NWACC Un-Conference sessions, and, compelling conversations around things that keep higher education CIOs up at night.

The conference will begin with a reception and dinner for Council Members at 6:00 pm on December 5 and adjourn at 12:00 pm (noon) on December 7. The following pre-conference sessions are scheduled for 5:00 pm on December 5:
