Stacie Pretty On Top serves as IT Services Operations Manager at Salish Kootenai College (SKC), a Tribal College located on the Flathead Reservation in western Montana. With more than 20 years of dedicated service to the institution, including time as a student intern, Stacie brings extensive institutional knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership experience to her role.
A proud graduate of Salish Kootenai College, Stacie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and has built her professional career at the very institution where she began as a student. Throughout her tenure at SKC, she has served as IT Department Assistant Director, Systems Administrator, and Database Management Instructor, before advancing to Operations Manager in 2020. In her current role, she oversees IT operations, supports strategic technology initiatives, and works to ensure reliable, secure and innovative technology services that advance SKC’s mission to provide quality post-secondary educational opportunities and support for American Indians, locally and from throughout the United States, to achieve their academic and career goals.
Stacie is an enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation located in Washington state. Her family comes from the Wenatchi, Okanogan, and Arrow Lakes Bands, and she is a descendant of the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Tribe and the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.
