A Southern Oregon University (SOU) success story, Gordon Carrier has dedicated his career to serving the institution’s IT needs. Currently serving as Interim Co-Director of Information Technology while also managing the Client Services team, Gordon has a deep understanding of SOU’s technological landscape. He began his journey in the IT department as a student worker, continuing after graduating with a B.S. in Business in 2011. Gordon honed his skills within the Client Services team, eventually becoming the Lead Computing Coordinator, before transitioning to the Lab and Classroom team. Furthering his expertise, he earned an M.S. in Business from SOU in 2021 and shortly after became the Client Services Manager. His commitment and proven leadership led to his appointment as Interim Co-IT Director in 2023.
