NWACC offers this workshop as an enjoyable and educational means of informing information technology managers and aspiring managers about legal and policy issues that affect the work we all do.

Tracy Mitrano, Director of IT Policy and University Computer Policy and Law Program at Cornell University, will facilitate the workshop. Guest speakers include Alan Fishel, Partner, Arent Fox LLP, and Joan Cheverie, Policy Specialist, Washington Office, EDUCAUSE.

Participants should leave with a better understanding of legal and policy issues that directly impact the higher education IT environment and, most importantly, learn how to deal with those issues.
